White Light announces major releases in Cannes
White Light Distribution brings to Cannes its strongest slate of music film programming yet for MIPTV, including the new HBO film from Carole King & James Taylor ‘Just Call Out My Name’; Peter Gabriel’s ‘Sledgehammer Revealed’; Biffy Clyro ‘Cultural Sons of Scotland’; Nick Cave & Warren Ellis: ‘This Much I Know To Be True’, directed by leading filmmaker Andrew Dominik as well as brand new shows including Josh Groban’s ‘Great Big Radio City Show’ and Isle of Wight Festival 2023’with headline performances from Pulp, Robbie Williams, Chemical Brothers and George Ezra.
White Light is also launching the newly remastered classic Eric Clapton film ‘24 Nights’, featuring performance from across 24 shows filmed live from London’s Royal Albert Hall in 1990/1991 and containing previously unseen performance not on the original release.
The programmes are new to the market and as White Light continue to widen distribution on behalf of Sony Music Entertainment, White Light additionally bring to market solid catalogue titles from artists including Depeche Mode, Elvis, George Michael, Oasis, Roy Orbison, P!nk, Paul Simon and Roger Waters.
