Emmy® Award-winning, cult 1960s television show starring the world's first manufactured boy band, The Monkees.

Centered on the struggling rock band from Los Angeles, The Monkees follows the adventures of Davy, Micky, Peter and Michael and their quest for fame and fortune as they try to make a name for themselves in the music world. Comic elements collide in the storyline and strange encounters occur as the band search for their big break.

The show helped promote the band’s albums and singles that featured in the show - many of which were written by professional songwriters Neil Diamond, Tommy Boyce and Bobby Hart, Gerry Goffin and Carole King - including I’m a Believer, Last Train to Clarksville and (I’m Not Your) Steppin' Stone.
