After Paul Weller called-time on The Jam, he turned his attentions to European influences of 1950s cool, modernist-style clothing, mixed-in with jazz scenes of Blue Note and a doze of vibrant pop-sounds of the day to create The Style Council.

Hit after hit drove The Style Council straight to the top of an MTV-age and the band enjoyed seven productive years of touring up to the end of the 1980s.

This brand-new film celebrates the music, the fashion, the influences and ‘agit-pop’ of The Style Council in a decade that would eventually see the end of the Cold War in Germany. Politically, as the Berlin Wall came down and reunification came, musically, the band decided to go their own separate ways.

Featuring new interviews with Paul Weller, Mick Talbot, Steve White and Dee C Lee, Boy George, Gary Crowley and Martin Freeman.
