Following the seminal release of Kristofferson in 1970, Kris Kristofferson took to the stage at the Isle Of Wight Festival.

Heralded from the hippie environs of West Coast America in the late 1960s by mega-star Janis Joplin, Kris Kristofferson quickly found fame on the international stage as a singer-songwriter in his own right and later a film actor.

Performing in front of an estimated 600,000 people, this was Kristofferson’s first ever UK live show, having only performed on stage half a dozen times before in the United States.

Songs performed include Help Me Make It Through The Night, Me And Bobby McGee, Blame It On The Stones and Shake Hands With The Devil.
