A FEEL FILMS PRODUCTION

During his career, Johnny Cash held a longstanding fondness for the UK and in particular, his Scottish heritage. Johnny Cash’s ultimate dream was to have his work re-imagined by the UK’s Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

Overseen by his son, John Carter Cash, this new film covers the re-working and fulfilling of that dream as 12 Johnny Cash master recordings from Man In Black and Ring Of Fire to musical collaborations including Girl From The North Country (Bob Dylan with Johnny Cash), The Loving Gift (with June Carter Cash) and Highwayman (with Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Kris Kristofferson and Johnny Cash), are magically transformed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

Directed by movie-director Nigel Cole (Made In Dagenham) the film takes Johnny Cash back to the UK and Scotland, through the use of unseen archive and unseen concert performances across the United Kingdom.

Features brand new interviews with Roseanne Cash and John Carter-Cash as well as Elvis Costello, Nick Lowe and Jools Holland.
