2022 commemorates the 20th anniversary of the legendary performance tribute to George Harrison, the Grammy Award winning Concert For George.

On 29th November 2002, one year after the passing of George Harrison, Olivia Harrison and longtime friend Eric Clapton organised a performance tribute in his honour.

George Harrison's closest friends gathered at London's Royal Albert Hall to celebrate his life in the only way they knew how - by playing his music. The momentous evening featured George's songs and the music he loved, performed by a lineup that included Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Eric Clapton, Jools Holland, Jeff Lynne, Monty Python, Tom Petty, Billy Preston, Ravi and Anoushka Shankar, Dhani Harrison and many more.

Directed by David Leland with musical direction by Eric Clapton, Concert For George captures stunning renditions of some of the most significant music of the 20th century, including While My Guitar Gently WeepsTaxmanSomething and My Sweet Lord.
